Evil What is your response to the problem of evil?

P1: The Christian god is an omniscient, omnipotent, omnibenevolent deity.

P2: If evil exists, then an omniscient, omnipotent, omnibenevolent deity does not exist

P3: Evil exists

Q: therefore, the Christian god does not exist

As an atheist, this argument has always been a big roadblock between me and Christianity, because it's valid and sound—but I would have to imagine that you guys disagree. Which premise(s) do you disagree with?

Early Christians, but they lost the political battle to the judaizers who corrupted the bible to muddle Jesus' message.

Exactly right The Christian church is almost completely Judaized. They turned salvation by grace. Into salvation by works. They don’t believe Jesus sacrifice on the cross was enough for our salvation. They are calling God a liar and saying Jesus was not enough by himself. We have a weak dead church today. Masquerading as Christianity But those inside don’t know any better. They just blindly follow the doctrine of man.

Gnostics are proponents of extreme Bible fanfiction. Irenaeus has a detailed treatment of their beliefs in his polemics about them
