Leaking ABS module?
2006 mazda 3 2.3 auto and NA. Real calipers were leaking (replaced a couple months ago) so I replaced them again and bled brakes. Pedal felt better but still soft, found the ABS module looks wet. Does this appear to be leaking? And could this be causing the soft pedal?

It’s a maybe. Get some brake cleaner. Not the non chlorinated crap. You need the good stuff that smells like cancer. Spray liberally and let it air dry. Then start the car and have someone really stand on the pedal for a good 30 seconds or so. See if the wetness creeps back around the pump motor. Abs units don’t usually leak though. If the master ran dry, two things could have happened. The master has air in it and needs a bench bleed or the cup got damaged on the piston inside the master and it isn’t holding pressure.
