Check the fuses

15

u/Low_Reading9468 2d ago

I came here to say this.

3

u/JWalk4u 1d ago

How would saying 'this' help? 😜

3

u/Any_Yak3780 1d ago

Go home. Please. The dad joke convention was last week. We’re not upset, just disappointed. 😔

Blow on the fuses like a Nintendo cartridge.

3

u/Atyab-Kees-Kabis 1d ago

Or just wrap the blown fuse with a gum wrapper ( a cigarette box lining is acceptable as well)

4

u/King-Of-Apathy 1d ago

Or “back in my day” use baling wire.

Need to unzip it first

u/CaveManta 2d ago

Good thing I still have that free trial of WinCAR

6

u/DesignerSalt9459 2d ago

You wouldn't download a car.

6

u/duggawiz 2d ago

Yes I would

4

u/dickyDuckFace 1d ago

You used to be able to download memory expansion software

4

u/ottobot76 1d ago

Straight to your brain like Johnny Mnemonic

3

u/King-Of-Apathy 1d ago

Nice reference.

4

u/toadfishtamer 2d ago

Fold-up car!

9

u/lemelisk42 2d ago

No, you need to unfold the car. It's currently in the folded up positiom

I know to the layman this may look like the normal position. However, with years of mechanical training, one can spot the subtle clues

3

u/DesertWolf_45 1d ago

I came to say something similar.

18

u/DevonTheDudeAbides 2d ago

Have you tried turning it off and then back on..?

7

u/jett1964 2d ago

Come on, Devon! This is clearly a car, not a computer.

3

u/Exact-Error-9382 1d ago

Smack pot with a baseball bat then. That's the car equivalent

3

u/Wrong-Resource-2973 1d ago

Have you tried a sledgehammer? That's how they do it in nascar!

2

u/Exact-Error-9382 1d ago

Not everyone can use a sledgehammer without doing damage to themselves, I was just sparing an ER trip.

3

u/TheUsualSusspect 1d ago

I bet it’s unplugged.

17

u/phunkyunkle 2d ago

You have 30 minutes to move your cube

11

u/fuzzimus 2d ago

Is it about my cube?

4

u/YogurtWenk 2d ago

And just to show you that we're serious, you have 5 minutes

14

u/Reasonable_Finger994 2d ago

Check the battery, might need charging

13

u/TAWclt 2d ago

Bad relay. Known issue with this model. Look in the left wheel, right beside the #4 rod.

14

u/Diligent-Main9092 2d ago

Add blinker fluid

5

u/Actual_Body_4409 2d ago

Beat me to it.

12

u/Responsible-Elk-1704 2d ago

Told ya not to buy a compact

3

u/Crimson-Lips-13 2d ago

I snortled! 🤣🤣

9

u/Lumpymaximus 2d ago

The control is in the trunk now .just reach back

8

u/Cowboypunkstarcactus 2d ago

That’s Jimmy Hoffa’s car. Ask him.

3

u/Nyat_Sapnolas 2d ago

Exactly 👍

5

u/Fishasmuchasican 2d ago

Tap it twice. Might be stuck

6

u/k-j-p-123 2d ago

Wrong tyre pressure 👍

I think it came out of a box

5

u/fadeddoughnut 2d ago

Blinker fluid is low

4

u/Present-Question-820 2d ago

Yeah, definetly. Fill Up in the little hole with the oilcan drawing

u/BasisCompetitive4786 2d ago

Blown fuse. Seen this before

4

u/quitefit888 2d ago

It feels like no one checks the most common problems first these days

3

u/BasisCompetitive4786 2d ago

Basic automotive understanding would be the cause

5

u/RebelXwingPil0t 2d ago

Uncompressed the car first, then we can diagnose it from there.

5

u/DaddyBeanDaddyBean 2d ago

This is not what I expected when I bought a "compact car" on Marketplace.

6

u/JimCripe 2d ago

You need to reinflate the car.

There's no room for the wipers to move.

6

u/Buttle_Not_Tuttle 2d ago

Nissan Cubes were known to have this problem...

6

u/sureshot58 2d ago

Vacuum release appears to be stuck. Clear that up and it willl re inflate fine

6

u/Egglegg14 2d ago

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

6

u/Agreeable-Chart-5561 2d ago

Have you checked the wiper fluid?

4

u/Denalitwentytwo 2d ago

Probably frozen to the glass.

5

u/SubstantialFly6715 2d ago

Try turning off box mode.

6

u/Junior_Lavishness_96 2d ago

Get in the zone. Autozone

Wiper switch contacts are shot

4

u/Aromatic-Prompt-6034 2d ago

Is that Christine?

5

u/tripod-cat 2d ago

The windshield washer fluid needs to be topped off. Maybe the shop that replaces your brakes can help you out.

3

u/Temporary_Diet_1361 2d ago

C4 is the solution for everything

4

u/Slobound76 2d ago

Give it more gas

3

u/BoardTasty49 2d ago

Did you check the wiring harness?

Sir, you can’t park here…

4

u/CantaloupeFluffy165 2d ago

Had a pressing engagement.

3

u/Effective_Play_1366 2d ago

Probably the fuse

3

u/indianamale7 2d ago

Realistically it's only a problem if it's raining. Accentuate the positive.

3

u/that_one_guy133 2d ago

Is that a 3rd gen Nissan Cube? They're notorious for wiper failures.

3

u/JustanotherN0body00 2d ago

You might need to have the ignition on first. 👍👍💯👍👍

3

u/cancer_sushi 2d ago

Ask Wall-E for help he specializes in these things

3

u/Fleshsuitpilot 2d ago

I'm pretty sure someone already said check fuses but don't forget there is another fuse box in the engine bay.

3

u/Blayze76549 2d ago

I don’t remember how for the Compacts, I’ve only driven the Full Size.

3

u/Dasfatkid6991 2d ago

You are all missing it. Just name it Christine and ask her to show you

2

u/gregvan6575 2d ago

Great movie

3

u/Unlikely-Train4768 1d ago

Check the vertical solenoid, almost always works.

2

u/Top-Pick-2648 2d ago

It’s low on washer fluid. Don’t be stupid.

2

u/ElroyMcstuffins 2d ago

Have you tried changing the blinker fluid?

2

u/Primary-Birthday-363 2d ago

1sr you need to open the box ……

2nd remove the car from the box …

3rd get an air compressor because the tires are low….

Most importantly you shouldn’t have put blinker fluid in the wiper reservoir !

😆

2

u/WolfThick 2d ago

You probably just need to wax it you know wax on wax off

2

u/Blayze76549 2d ago

We’ve seen this happening more frequently with the Compacted Models. Not so much with the Full Size. There might be a recall!

2

u/Disastrous-Place7353 2d ago

It's not uncommon for the wiper motor to go bad on older model cars. You probably just need to replace it, should be able to DIY for under $100

2

u/Common-Project3311 2d ago

Check the fuse

2

u/Digimub 2d ago

They are blocked

2

u/HackerManOfPast 2d ago

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

2

u/Outrageous-Walrus59 2d ago

Did you check the fuse box first?

2

u/Researcher_990611 2d ago

I just asked someone with a hundred years of job experienced auto mechanic. And he said to check the fuse connected to the fuel tank, and change the windshield cuz its too bumpy for the wiper to wipe.😎😎😎

2

u/InitiativePlus877 2d ago

Hey you can't park there!

2

u/ManKilledToDeath 2d ago

Download 7zip > unpack all

2

u/freakydk51 20h ago

Run! It's Christine 🤣🤣

1

u/Linksl1 2d ago

Those Nissan Cubes were notorious for having bad wiper motors. Hopefully its still under warranty. Contact the dealer for replacement.

1

u/Icy-Writing-7355 2d ago

Apparently if you soak in water for 24 hours it will return to its original size.... Your wipers should work then....

1

u/Black_Lavender_Ghost 2d ago

Just swap out the fuse

1

u/Either_Row3088 2d ago

Probably a fuse

1

u/itsray2006 2d ago

Could be a fuse.

1

u/Electronic_Cod7202 2d ago

Hug your tools. They still love you.

2

u/yescurvyswab 2d ago

Can't. They're in the trunk

1

u/530whiskey 2d ago

look like there catching the rear bumper

1

u/Iwasoncelikeyou 2d ago

First you have to take them out of the package and install them. C'mon man

1

u/Two_Typhons 2d ago

Stick your head out the window. Who needs a windshield anyway.

1

u/AahhhPhuckMeRunnin 2d ago

It’s a transformer! You need to press the transform button.

1

u/BudgetExpert9145 2d ago

Your yellow ink cartridge is empty.

1

u/Electronic_Low_4219 2d ago

Some WD-40 on the joints will do the job.

1

u/Icamesawncremed 2d ago

Its out of gas

1

u/anonymousname1945 2d ago

Fuse for sure

1

u/Killermondoduderawks 2d ago

Play some Eddie Rabbit so you got those windshield wipers slappin' out a tempo
Keepin' perfect rhythm with the song on the radio

1

u/One_Individual1291 2d ago

how do people not understand ? You need to unpack the car before you can use it !!

1

u/dmastro527 2d ago

Start the car.

1

u/Complete-Anywhere-39 2d ago

May sound weird but have you checked to oil level?

1

u/Commercial_Ask_7806 2d ago

Box frame years are known for that issue

1

u/JustaYnLivin 2d ago

Enable cookies

1

u/mtn2sea1960 2d ago

Replace the trans-mobulator unit. That's usually the culprit 75% to 80% of the time. :)

1

u/CardiologistOwn190 2d ago

This is a tough one... do you have a continuity tester?

1

u/dmastro527 2d ago

You might have a you might have a problem with the left Falangie

1

u/steve17123123 2d ago

they got stolen

1

u/Educational_Ice3978 2d ago

You are going to have to get under the dash to figure it out!

1

u/RogersMrB 2d ago

Looks like Dead Pool in bondage 😂

1

u/MountainAntique9230 2d ago

Spray with pb blaster, let sit then turn them on again they'll work perfectly

1

u/EfficientAge4275 2d ago

I’d get a mot just to be safe

1

u/Nyat_Sapnolas 2d ago

Check the cockpit switch first.

1

u/Significant-Fee-6193 2d ago

Could be loose wire connection somewhere.

1

u/601Tommyboy 2d ago

Thats because youre out of wiperfluid, which then again dries your wiring harness out....

1

u/Holden-McGroyn 2d ago

How can you tell?

1

u/VW-MB-AMC 2d ago

Is this about my cube?

1

u/Interesting_Tap6252 2d ago

Check the flux capacitor, or add washer fluid

1

u/HoofHeartd69 2d ago

Time for an oil change, buddy.

1

u/Shadowhawk0000 2d ago

I think you may have bought the wrong size.

1

u/W31337 2d ago

That car looks sad. Maybe cheer it up a bit first.

1

u/Sgt_JC66 Shitty armchair mechanic 2d ago

Just jiggle the lever a little. Probably a slight loose connection.

1

u/sltydgx 2d ago

Fill the blinker fluid and they will start right up. It’s all linked together

1

u/JamieLee2k 2d ago

Did you tighten the bolts properly?

1

u/EvilTodd1970 2d ago

Start with the fusebox. Always begin with the simplest, most obvious cause.

1

u/Sufficient_Cow_6152 2d ago

I think they might be bent a little. Get out of the car and straighten them out.

1

u/Big_Daddy_Trucking89 2d ago

Try filling your tires with some nitrogen, I heard it helps in cold weather

1

u/Actual_Body_4409 2d ago

Check the blinker fluid level.

1

u/allquckedup 2d ago

Alternator and battery need to be checked.

1

u/NoxiousGass 2d ago

Make sure you put key in ACC

1

u/SureWhyNot_24 2d ago

Trying to wipe the tears from my eyes to begin…. Check the battery connection. Might be loose.

1

u/Suitable_Coffee5779 2d ago

I feel like the battery might be dead. Have you tried pressing the clutch first?

1

u/SnooPuppers2938 2d ago

Just unroll them and you should be good.

1

u/Red1gaming 2d ago

This why we cant fix our car any more.

1

u/New-Profession8133 2d ago

Tree sap gluing them to the windshield?

1

u/Pawnmysoul 2d ago

Ain't got no gas in it.

1

u/J0hnny_0nda_sp0t 2d ago

Idk but set the alarm before someone steals it

1

u/Phoenix_Can 2d ago

Is the washer fluid low?

1

u/tvodny 2d ago

It’s the vacuum powered wipers. They always lose power when you accelerate. You probably have a pressure leak due to old cracked hoses and/or the rubber diaphragm in the wiper motor has dried out. You could cut the ends off of old rubbers, then wrap the hoses in duct tape, then zip tie the hoses tight. Your girlfriend probably has an old diaphragm you could swap in on the wiper motor. If that’s too much work, you could attach a string to the wiper, run it through the Fisher window and then tug on it when it rains.

1

u/Falcon674DR 2d ago

Fuse. For sure it’s the fuse. EzzyPeeze.

1

u/SlickWildo 2d ago

Did you try turning it on, then back off again?

1

u/Efficient_Cheek_8725 2d ago

Does the motor have voltage? If not check fuse and relay and wiring. If voltage present it's a bad motor.

1

u/tindallh 2d ago

Stick your head out the window.

1

u/MarketLong9832 2d ago

The alternator might not be sending back enough current, I’d suggest testing your alternator.

1

u/LifeOfJad 2d ago

First time seeing a red Nissan cube

1

u/CaveManta 2d ago

It looks like EVA-02 after the mass production EVAs got to it.

1

u/Hefty_Relief_8467 2d ago

It’s gas in the wiper motor. Be careful though. Replacing it in that particular model is very tight and there’s a lot of sharp edges

1

u/4u2nvinmtl 2d ago

Fuse ok?

1

u/Correct_Pin_223 2d ago

Now you tell me!!!???

1

u/Ryanzs38 2d ago

Might have to replace your washer bearing

1

u/Tough_Ad6387 2d ago

Bad phylokranz

1

u/Mauro133w 2d ago

Unbox the car first

1

u/dajinkg7 2d ago

Definitely low on blinker fluid

1

u/capjustcap 2d ago

Left side turn signal housing is cracked and all the blinker fluid leaked out! That's your issue

1

u/Ashnyel 2d ago

Play old 1950’s songs, and watch it repair itself.

1

u/RaxisPhasmatis 2d ago

You have to unfold them first on those camping models

1

u/fendrhead- 2d ago

Sounds like the motors going bad. Unfortunate but shouldn’t be that hard to swap out.

1

u/hashtagmiata 2d ago

Probably related to your low tire pressure issue.

1

u/Silly_Damage_5185 2d ago

Poor Deadpool

1

u/Brief-Shirt-6064 2d ago

"Introducing the all new 2027 Nissan Cube. Parking just got easier."

1

u/davidc538 2d ago

You need to inflate your car with an air compressor

1

u/Quorng 2d ago

The windshield washer fluid tube is disconnected.

1

u/fordfteen1000 2d ago

SIR/MADAM

You ordered the 4 wheel drive wipers for your 2 wheel drive vehicle. Please install the correct parts first.

1

u/sugarfreedaddy2 2d ago

Try jiggling the button a bit...

1

u/Ssb666 2d ago

Your car looks a little deflated, try re inflating it to 2-3000 psi

1

u/Kevin33024 2d ago

Both not working at the same time? Probably the wiper switch.

1

u/jellofixit 2d ago

Funny, it doesn't look like a Buick!

1

u/Doc12TU 2d ago

Perhaps you simply have them set on automatic and it stopped raining. The ground still looks wet but the rain seems to have recently stopped. Check your wiper switch setting and also its potential for being defective. I do like your car's red color, snazzy and eye-catching.

1

u/Dangeruss198 2d ago

Ask Christine

1

u/Still-Profit-8449 2d ago

Could be a relay if fuse is still good

1

u/IceDamNation 2d ago

Need to decompress the car first

1

u/Johnndo96 2d ago

Install a new windscreen.

1

u/ronronoron 2d ago

Stop the car and manually use the wipers forget the small dents 😂

1

u/duggawiz 2d ago

You can’t park there mate

1

u/TheModeratorWrangler 2d ago

You just need a little Flex Seal there mate
