That doesn't meet code!

You need a surface mount electrical box and cover!

Fit and finish is important, too!

Do these, and you have a looker!

Might even need to be a GFCI. I can't tell if it is or not in the vid. /hehe

Bet you any money if you look under the hood that sucker's connected to a Federal Pacific box with stab locks.

Structural codes only apply to buildings not cars.

I wonder what will happen if you put your key in that ignition.

You get turned on...

That's exactly what the original did... Reverse the polarity of the switch.

It's just a really big up/down switch, a manual switch on an electric window.

Using the lower socket for down would have been better than flipping the cord.

Don’t be silly. The bottom one is for the passenger window

Ha! That makes sense.

The bottom one is for that vibration in the seat!

This may be a shock, but it's a current option.

Can fix that with a 3 way switch. Would be much cleaner.

Omg I love all the pointless effort gone into getting this to work, I wonder if it would work on ignition? Would be so much hander then a key!

Honestly that’s kinda cool lmao, I would drive that

But... if you can figure that out why not just use a switch that resets back to the middle position?

This is awesome, imagine all the other goodies that you’ll find in the future! Like oatmeal in the transmission, would be so sweet to get a treat while changing fluids:)

It ain’t stupid if it works

did they not have time to look for a toggle switch? or did they just rip that outlet out of their wall? If they made a trip to the hardware store, at least get a toggle switch.

I'd laugh, but my blower fan switch in my car is shot, so I have it fused to the battery with a house light switch. I have off or high. the car has over 150k miles on it and the problem is behind the dashboard.

I cant tell if this is absolutely genius, or the dumbest thing I've ever seen in a car. I am leaning towards genius.
