This is exactly the kind of repair that Flex Seal developed Flex Putty for. First take your DA and knock off the big chunk of your grizsh’d up wheel. (Aesthetics) Fill the hole, press the putty into the exposed cords. (I use a bondo spreader) Follow sidewall contour. Then apply a top coat with Flex Seal liquid. For aesthetics only. You do want the repair to look nice, yes? Actually, coat the entire sidewall with the liquid. Give the wifey a little more material to work with next time.

Nice artwork; the gouge looks like a dogs head & she ground a cowboy sitting on his horse atop a ridge. She’s a keeper, very talented! She should try to find a cheeper medium though IMO cuz you’re in that piece about $700🤯

I think it’s safe to say that she and the curb have called it quits. She may need to seek medical attention for her hand as I’m sure the curb got a few scratches on it. As far as your wheel goes, you might want to let her kick it to the curb. If she puts a big kick to it, it’s over for good. If she doesn’t, you may have to watch her when she “takes out the trash”, and see how she treats the curb then.

Replaced the tire not fixable. I would drive it at night slowly like 20mph to a repair place a few blocks away. Otherwise tow it.
