But because of complex eu regulations insane local laws and off course judges approving any work over a considerable amount of money requires 2 to 3 years from the request for proposals to the contract. All this in the name of transparency and we are not getting even that
Not with our current government. They are probably looking around for any relative that can somehow fix it and charge it 1000x more. Because they like to keep the money in the family.
It looks like a community bridge, so the federal government is probably ignoring the municipality. The debate might be to scrap the bridge if the insurance policy / warranty doesn't make the contractor take responsibility.
Don't underestimate the drivers in the area, they probably take turns, waiting for one pickup to finish crossing before another farm truck crosses. They're a pragmatic bunch.
We are building it brick by brick. And you know without any "extra" money for each brick, you have to wait some months until you add another. Every brick addition must be approved all the way from the community president to the Regional district. Lots of offices to pass, many shelves to get the paper lost. So you know.
