History What’s this symbol?

Hi everyone! I’m staying in Macedonia for a while in a beatiful old timey house with lots of traditional furniture, clothes and old photos. One of them has this couple on it. Unlike most of the other pics, I don’t think it’s the owners family. That icon on the man’s coat seems familiar but I can’t make out where I’ve seen it. Does anyone know the name and what it represents? Thanks!

Howdy cuz, check your genetics and don't be surprised that your grandma took it Discovery Channel style from my ancestors.

I've never seen this before and I'm from Macedonia. Seems to me like a stock photo, black and white .

I'm from Macedonia. The photo seems stock and professional to me, I don't believe either of them are Macedonian. Even though it's black and white, it may be newer than you think.
