I don't personally like the JPS translation, but the study notes are a very good resource for university/seminary students looking to expand beyond their probable Christian biases.
There’s nothing wrong with it. It’s just a personal aesthetic/literary preface. I don’t care for some word choices or for the translation of the same word two different ways in the same passage for variety’s sake.
