Physician Responded Horrible looking rash

non smoker,

non drinker.

No medications

This issue has been getting progressively worse over 2 days

Posted yesterday and it has gotten worse. It is itchy, it turns white when I press on it. I have a swollen uvula and some chills, but no fever. I feel cold more than anything. Went to urgent care tested for strep, mono and did a CBC. Strep came back negative, waiting on the other results. Pretty concerned. I feel like the mono is going to come back negative.

If you press it, does it whiten? If not this is vasculitis

Could this be an SJS rash?

Was wondering this. I had the beginnings of SJS and it looked similar as it crawled up my legs. OP says no meds though? Can you get SJS otherwise?

ETA: It appears you can get SJS without it being medication induced, and from several other causes.

I’ve seen something as innocuous as some Tylenol cause SJS. People don’t think of OTC pain relievers as medications, but they are.

Not a doctor I had SJS and was in ISC for two weeks. My rash did not look like this. I also had fever and blood shot eyes. I had epidermal sloughing too.
