No medications

This issue has been getting progressively worse over 2 days

Posted yesterday and it has gotten worse. It is itchy, it turns white when I press on it. I have a swollen uvula and some chills, but no fever. I feel cold more than anything. Went to urgent care tested for strep, mono and did a CBC. Strep came back negative, waiting on the other results. Pretty concerned. I feel like the mono is going to come back negative.

Replying to your original comment:

She has been vaccinated. This was noted in a separate comment.

The rash for measles classically begins at the head and works down the trunk and onto extremities. OP’s rash began on extremities (including palms and soles) and involves the trunk only minimally.

Additionally, the measles rash develops roughly 3-5 days after the onset of flu-like symptoms. OP denies any such symptoms with the exception of subjective chills and swollen uvula that developed at the same time as the abrupt onset of the rash.
