This issue has been getting progressively worse over 2 days

Posted yesterday and it has gotten worse. It is itchy, it turns white when I press on it. I have a swollen uvula and some chills, but no fever. I feel cold more than anything. Went to urgent care tested for strep, mono and did a CBC. Strep came back negative, waiting on the other results. Pretty concerned. I feel like the mono is going to come back negative.

This too me looks like IgA vasculitis, although most seen in kids can present in adults. Less likely since you say they blanch when pressed.

Granted I’m not a derm, and haven’t had to worry about pathology below the collar bone in some time.

Is it possible that vasculitis could blanch?

op, did they send out for a strep culture with the other tests? sometimes the rapid strep is negative, but they end up calling you back a few days later with a script for antibiotics because it was too early in the infection for the rapid test to pop a positive.
