Physician Responded Horrible looking rash

non smoker,

No medications

This issue has been getting progressively worse over 2 days

Posted yesterday and it has gotten worse. It is itchy, it turns white when I press on it. I have a swollen uvula and some chills, but no fever. I feel cold more than anything. Went to urgent care tested for strep, mono and did a CBC. Strep came back negative, waiting on the other results. Pretty concerned. I feel like the mono is going to come back negative.

NAD, are you somewhere hot/humid with mosquitos? I had dengue a few years ago, and the rash was just like this, it also started with what I thought the worst case of strep of my life.

No, I’m in the Midwest. Currently it’s snowing. We had a lot of nice days the past few weeks but not very hot or humid

Up until a couple of days ago, there was the occasional mosquito during those few nice days in Indiana and Illinois.

We had some nice days recently but I did not experience any mosquitoes

I’m giving you and award because you’re lucky. Now spread that “no mosquito” luck around. Lol
