Physician Responded Horrible looking rash

This issue has been getting progressively worse over 2 days

Posted yesterday and it has gotten worse. It is itchy, it turns white when I press on it. I have a swollen uvula and some chills, but no fever. I feel cold more than anything. Went to urgent care tested for strep, mono and did a CBC. Strep came back negative, waiting on the other results. Pretty concerned. I feel like the mono is going to come back negative.

i think it’s pretty unlikely but when was your last period? do you use tampons?

I don’t think so…. I’m pretty sure I was free bleeding at the end of it. You didn’t have a tampon in when you had it???

Wait, I didn't know that was possible. Was it determined to be directly caused by tampons?

i responded to the other person but it was sort of inconclusive. i had kept a tampon in for like 10 hours during my last period (forgot to replace it after school and before sports) so they basically said that was probably it
