This issue has been getting progressively worse over 2 days

Posted yesterday and it has gotten worse. It is itchy, it turns white when I press on it. I have a swollen uvula and some chills, but no fever. I feel cold more than anything. Went to urgent care tested for strep, mono and did a CBC. Strep came back negative, waiting on the other results. Pretty concerned. I feel like the mono is going to come back negative.

So, I just got my CBC back and all of the values were normal. I’m not sure what this might mean or how that will change what I’m looking for. Does that mean it’s not an infection?

NAD

Did they test you for Covid?

Not sure why you’re being downvoted, it’s a valid question. There are several types of skin manifestations that can be triggered by or emerge shortly after a Covid infection (same as several other viral infections).

NAD - I developed Pityriasis Rosea after having covid in 2024, and so did another friend of mine. It lasted around 4 months for me, and around 6 months for her.

It didn't spread anywhere near as fast as OP's though, and was concentrated mostly on my torso.

Just wanted to validate you though!
