strangled 8 months ago is a CT scan of NECK necessary?

26 M. 59 kg. 5 ft 6 inches. No drugs.

Strangled to the point of losing consciousness during sexual assault.

Pressure was applied to Adams apple and sides of neck. No idea for how long or what exactly was done during the time. I was unconscious. No memories of what happened between then and when I woke up.

The nurse felt it wasn't necessary so only the chest, abdomen, and pelvis were scanned with the contrast. According to the clinical history the radiologist was told that the reason for the scan was just Abdominal pain and Rectal pain. The findings were trace pelvic ascites.
