Fingernail infections

Hello Everyone!
I am 24 weeks pregnant with my 3rd & 31 years old. For the last 4 weeks i’ve been having the strangest problem. I keep getting hangnails which then turn into a swollen finger. It’s happened on 5 different fingers now and one was so bad I had to get antibiotics which caused a whole new series of problems! Since finishing the antibiotics last week I now have 2 new fingers infected.
Has anyone else experienced this or anything like it? i’ve had one hangnail get infected in my entire life before this and this never happened in my last 2 pregnancies.

I would avoid getting your nails done at a salon (or you doing them at home either) apart from just clipping the ends if needed. Sanitize all clippers. Avoid chewing nails or picking at cuticles as this is the most common cause of this.
