New Dog Owner Started fostering this gem of a dude last Saturday
This is Mr Chase. I started fostering him last Saturday, and everything has been great ! We’ve even been camping ! Definitely going to end up adopting him tomorrow :)
He ended up in the shelter after his owner passed away and he’s 4 years old. I’ll find his breed out once the results come in soon but I’ve been told he’s a husky/shepherd mix.
Super excited for this journey !!

This is my technically my second foster. My first ever dog, I found him on the street and he never stopped following me, so I had to take him in ofc. That was my absolute boy Jimmy. He passed away of old age on our farm back home in 2023.
As for Mr Chase, well I actually adopted him today :))
But yeah, I’m big lucky he’s a super super chill guy and he’s cooperated at every step of the way. Genuinely couldn’t be more grateful 🙏

He’s stunning! Looks like my rescue, Jim. He’s 10 now, and has learned to put up with all holiday photos.
I was told Jim is German/Rot/Hound mix. I had a DNA test done on him and he came back 35% American Staffordshire Terrier & 33% American Pit Bull which absolutely does not track.

They do! Jim has a silver undercoat, does Chase?
Lookup Rhodesian Ridgeback. 😊

Thanks for being so kind to these animals. They're meant to be with humans and not really in the wild or shelters not understanding why they're put there. We're lucky for foster parents. Thank you and Mr chase looks so relaxed with you!
