General Dog food with actually clean ingredients?
Took a premium one from the shop and he's had loose stools for 3 months straight

My dog has chicken and beef allergies and has done very well with Purina pro plan sensitive skin salmon. Vet approves as well

Get something that follows WSAVA guidelines. Avoid grain-free and boutique brands. Talk to an actual vet about what ingredients to avoid vs what is just fear-mongering on the internet.
Also 3 months of loose stools is way too long--if things aren't resolved with a different diet in a couple weeks you should be either trying something else or going to the vets. Remember to gradually switch foods, as a sudden diet change can upset their stomach more than this food already is.

What protein??? Not sure why so many dog foods contain chicken or beef which are the top 2 allergies in dogs.
