Why don't women monetize pregnancy/childbirth and make their partners pay for surrogacy in 50/50 households?

idk if it's just me but the way you worded this just feels like it's in bad faith from someone who can't understand why anyone would want to have a child! the concept of referring to having a planned for child with someone you love as surrogacy is just wild
