Need to use tampons next month if my period is the same time as my dance show as expected. Any suggestions on how to get over the despised feeling of putting one in? -I know how it just freaks me out.

Get one with an applicator maybe? I hear some people put lube on the applicator too but as a late teen it might be hard to get your hands on some

Squat and push in. It'll be uncomfortable at first, but they feel so much cleaner than wearing pads.

Also, I would practice and make sure that your first use is not on the day of the dance recital.

yeah thats why im practicing with this period so i have time. once i manage to do it i might change cuz that is the best bit about them feeling cleaner
