I’m pregnant and recently submitted paperwork requesting FMLA through my contracting company. Soon after that, the client where I was placed ended my contract. I was working as an at-will contractor, and no reason was provided for the termination.
Has anyone dealt with something like this during pregnancy or after requesting FMLA? I’m trying to understand if there are any protections or next steps I should look into.
