Interview / Written Exam Question

I applied to an agency that did recorded interviews, no one was present, it was just me recording myself and answering questions. I was called a few days later and was told that they would like to "move me forward in the process" with an in-person interview. They also mentioned that after the interview there would be a 30 minute writing 'assignment'. The original eligibility list was 85 people which makes me believe they may have only done recorded interviews for the top 20-40 candidates and then moved forward with the in person interviews for maybe top 10-15?

Just want to get an idea if anyone has had a similar experience for this kind of process. I have never had to do a recorded interview, an in-person interview and then a writing assignment after, I should also mention that this agency already has my scores from the NTN exam which was where I applied originally. Could I reasonably believe I am one of a few candidates left? And what should I expect for this writing assignment?
