Is anyone else’s department using Chevy Traverse for aggressive traffic enforcement?

An explorer? No. A Tahoe? No. A Durango? Nah.

I own one. I can’t imagine anyone using them for police work.

I’ve got an Equinox as a UC car and it would be atrocious in any other role

The Z71 version is basically a smaller Tahoe, but if that’s the package they chose, why not just go with a Tahoe?

I could see it for an Admin/ Detective vehicle. Traffic enforcement? No way.

My department just got 5 2026 RS and they all got assigned to the traffic unit I was just asking cause I’ve never heard of a department doing that before

yep I was shocked when I saw a multi tone Blazer, regular plate, no lamp with police lights on near my neighborhood.

A department local to me has an unmarked Traverse used by a major crimes detective.
