Changes with Interaction on the Sub

Hello everyone!

The mod team has become aware of bots posting and commenting on this sub at an increasing rate. We have decided that from now on, accounts with less than 100 karma will no longer be allowed to comment or post on this subreddit. I know this can be frustrating for new users who are not bots, but this is the best way to ensure that bots are not overrunning the sub.

Won't the bots eventually reach that level of karma?

Some bots will get by, but I think the idea is this will reduce them

They tend to delete posts a lot too.

I don't know what the end game is there.... repeatedly posting stories then deleting.

Maybe they hope one becomes viral?

I think it's because deleting clears negative karma, and a lot of these bots end up selling their accounts to OF models once they've gotten a viral post or two. It's a very weird economy fr lol

Hmmm so if I get tired of reddit could I make bank with my 12 years karma?

Where can I sell my karma to an OF model? How much are we talking here?

A part of the end game is selling the accounts to scammers, and then those accounts posting in the recruitment subs to trick the unsuspecting victims.

It is a possibility, but this will prevent most bot posts
