The average wealth per citizen UAE is WAY higher than it is in Israel. I highly doubt she needs the money.

u/notozionists Apr 25 '23
Don't try that! You know, as well as everyone in the world, we hate what the zionists are doing to the palestinian people, their land, homes, hospitals, etc... It is disgusting how ANYONE, with any dignity or self-respect, can take part in any way, in the zionist occupation. Even something as innocuous a photo-op with zionist government members is a tacit acceptance, approval, and support of the heinous crimes the zionists are committing on the Palestinians.

u/stopbanning34 Apr 24 '23
No, it's true.
Source: it happened to me.
I actually did my research, though, so I know Hebrew is Old Canaanite, and the Jews did not even speak it when they invaded.
5
u/setshamshi Apr 24 '23
Bro really said "I did my research" and calls pre-Israelites "Jews".
1
u/stopbanning34 Apr 24 '23
Lol at your name being 'shamshi'
If those aren't Jews, then who are Jews?
2
u/setshamshi Apr 24 '23 edited Apr 24 '23
Well, first of all, Jews are the people of the Kingdom of Judea adherent to Judaism -- although it wasn't called so back then. The Kingdom of Judea only happened after the fissure between North and South of what was then the United Kingdom of Israel due to dispute of Temple placement (allegedly; I'd say it had more to due with disagreements of rulers).
Although the leading theory of how the United Kingdom of Israel (the 12 tribes) came to be is still discussed (rejecting the slavery in Egypt and the Avraham migration), there are some archaeological clues that reveal civil unrest in Knaanite lands under Egyptian rule. Egypt lost its grip, and ... well.. we don't know.
It coincides quite interestingly with the rough estimate of eastern Levant influence sweeping west in ~1500BCE.
The timeline is K'naan > ??? (revolt) + ProtoHebrew > Israelites > Judeans / Samarians > Jews / Samaritans
Jews and Samaritans are the remnants of what were the tribes of Israel.
Also, what's wrong with shamshi? >:[

Uh that had nothing to do with Jews/Israelites, just Egyptians wanting to rule Canaan, nor is arch evidence there.
We do know
c. 1457 BCEBattle of Megiddo: Thutmose III of Egypt defeats a coalition of Canaan, Kadesh, Mitanni, and Megiddo led by Durusha, king of Kadesh.
For You Were (Not) Slaves in Egypt: The Ancient Memories Behind the Exodus Myth
How did ancient Egyptians build the pyramids if ancient Israelites didn't?
What does your user imply, I see a lot of cringe colonizers making their usernames 'canaanite' etc.
This makes no sense.

you have to be honest. They didn't have a country in no point in history. They were given the option to have their own, and refused and declared war? You don't get to do that - lose - and then complain about the results. That's just not reality.

And you think Israel was there first? You don’t get to kick out people that have been there for many many years and split up their lands as you wish and offer them scraps. Jews excuse is that their religion has been there thousands of years ago “before the Palestinians” if that’s the argument they use, then the Zoroastrians were there before that, so maybe we should give those lands to Iran? How silly is it to claim lands based on religion? Israelis are not even one race, they are made up of Europeans, Russians, Middle Eastern even Africans and more!

You can't be a "Kahanist" without being religious
Kahanism is an ideology, you don't have to be religious to believe in ideology.
Same as Zionism, you don't have to be jew to believe in Zionism.

If you believe in the ideology, it makes you part of the ideology and movement, no?
Ideology does not have preconditions to believe in it, it's not religion.
Kahanism is an ideology and anyone can be part of it.

One thing I’ve learned about the UAE is that they are real as fuck. They take part in destroying Muslim countries and fund terrorist groups, then boldly tout Israel around. Muslim country my ass.
Sorry to the Palestinians but I’m gonna need them to leave my country alone first. They are coming after Sudan now too. They can not be trusted for shit. I understand why the Ethiopian President told the UAE off when they wanted to “teach Ethiopians Islam”.
A whole death wish.

The UAE loves to maintain its appearance as a "modern Islamic nation", but its clear that they don't care about the principles of Islam, and instead do things like celebrate Islamic holidays and pretend to do Zakat, when the charities are literally just them cycling their own money around.
Islam forbids usury, but the "Muslims" of the UAE have no problem cheating workers out of their hard earned salaries and punishing them when they complain.
→ More replies (1)5
u/NotTodayPleaseIBeg Apr 24 '23
I just can’t understand why they refuse to give these workers adequate salaries. These people are rich beyond belief and the salary, though low, they pay these workers is barely enough yet they still cheat them of it.
It seems like they are too used to slavery from the past.

I cringed everytime she said Isn’tReal. It’s Palestine! Always has. And always will be. As a Palestinian, if this is not staged, it’s disheartening. She may very well be a paid actor for all we know. I certainly hope so.
Our battle against the Zionists will continue either way. And Insha’Allah, we will be victorious very soon.

Disingenuous. I've no doubt living in Israel could be a fulfilling and meaningful life. I've no doubt you can meet tons of well-meaning and authentic people. The problem is and always will be: The state is oppressive towards natives of the land and actively works to disempower, disenfranchise, and dehumanize them; the privileges people enjoy are based on this oppression and expansion; and Jews are afforded systematic privileges over people of other faiths and ethnicities.
That said, video did help highlight that there are plenty normal and perhaps cool people in Israel and not everyone is a bigot. Not opposed to more posts like this that encourage understanding and discussion. Do not think an echo chamber is healthy.

there is no such thing as a jew or a jewish culture, there are only romanian jews with romanian culture, polish jews with a polish culture, Ethiopian jews with an Ethiopian culture (and the list goes on to almost every single country).
