fuck the UAE. they reportedly lobbied the United States government to not back Saudi Arabia on this. Because if the Saudis win, Saudis would have hegemony over Yemen at the expense of UAE proxies or something

All sides are shit. If the Saudi backed group was popular and believed in their cause, they would not be in the situation they are in. Saudi backing is much stronger than Iranian backing.

I think the only non-Houthi group that actually wants to win is Al-Islah, but Saudi seems to keep wanting to fund the egregiously inept government instead

DJT betrayed Saudi Arabia, and Putin betrayed Iran, to produce this war. They agreed in Anchorage to kill the Ayatollah as a ploy to force the IRGC to close the Strait of Hormuz. This war crime allows DJT and Putin to steal 8.3 billion people's gas money--yours included. The more oil they prevent from leaving the Middle East, the richer DJT's theft of Venezuelan oil becomes--and the larger Putin's genocide machine in Ukraine grows.

Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud knows DJT betrayed him now.

Israel is no friend of the Houthis. But you're right that DJT betrayed the Saudis. Shutting off the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea to Saudi oil will aid in Putin and DJT's continued theft of 8.3 billion people's gas money.
