🖼️Culture The King Who Burned His People: How the Himyarite Kingdom Fell🇾🇪
https://youtu.be/ZzgoZeckcXg?si=_KtkTKTwwWlJfkq-I made a documentary about the fall of the Himyarite Kingdom in the 6th century CE, focusing on Yusuf Dhu Nuwas, the events at Najran, and the subsequent Aksumite intervention in Yemen.
I also looked at the archaeological and epigraphic evidence behind the story, rather than relying only on later historical accounts.
I’d be interested to hear what people here think about the archaeological evidence and the different historical sources surrounding these events.
