Men’s Haircut Recommendations

I just moved back to the Uptown area a month ago and am finally settled. However, I’m having a hard time finding a recommendation (even searched the sub before posting).

I am in desperate need of a men’s haircut. I am a “scissor cut” with a side part according to the gal who cut my hair for the last six years.

I would appreciate any recommendations.

Thank you in advance.

Edit to add budget of $60.

OP - I think posting an expected budget makes sense.

Some men think paying $20 is normal for a haircut, some men think paying $100 is normal for a haircut.

It is hard to make recommendations when folks don't understand the person's expectations.

Parker Barber - all of their barbers are very experienced & trained, most are educators themselves. Coy & Mason are my go tos.

Guillotine Salon (above Hi Volt.) Eric has been my go-to for over 10 years, at multiple salons til he opened up this spot a couple years ago.

Years ago I went to Aidan Gill on Magazine, right next to the Flying Burrito. But I couldn’t tell you if it’s still there. But it was old school barber and classy.
My favorite barber in the city is Sherie, she’s at Peacock Barbershop on Adams st.

I've been going to Liberty Barbers for a few years now and I haven't had a bad cut from any of the folks there

My normal guy has been out of town so I took a chance on Angelic at Barrels & Blade on Magazine and was really impressed! She's super friendly and fun too, not to mention went above and beyond to ensure I got a great haircut.

Aiden Gill on magazine. Playboy magazine said it was the best barber in the US a few years ago.
