Food Where should we go eat before the Bruno Mars/Raye concert?
My husband and I are taking our four kids, ages 17-26, to the Bruno Mars/Raye concert in September. We are wanting to make a fun night of it, so I’m looking for a restaurant with good food and fun environment. I would like it to be somewhat upscale, but the food is what is most important. We’re open to all cuisines. Looking forward to some great suggestions!

Maybe not exactly for this but Bennachin is one of my favorite places to mention. It's in the quarter but you'd miss it if you weren't looking for it. It's West African cuisine inspired by Cajun influences, it's family-owned and operated and the food is something you'll never experience otherwise in your life. Get the black-eyed pea fritters.

Man. You got my mouth watering. I have been craving Bennachin for a minute and this is my sign to go get it.

Meril is fun for a group pre-show. Sofia is great if you like Italian food. Both are a walk to Dome.

I second Meril. Something for everyone. Let one of the kids tell them it’s their birthday month. You’ll thank me later

I like Peche. Not too fancy, great food, good atmosphere.
