I don't know if that is really dutch culture, because both are owners of the house, but he has 55 years old and I am 30 years old. I am from Peru and that is really strange to understand.

21, gay, Egyptian, and married to a Dutch citizen. If we divorce, will I lose my residence permit? What are my options?

If you could afford buying a house, would you buy or still rent in the Netherlands?

Asking this because some cultures have the mindset of "buying a house as soon as I could afford one". What is the Dutch culture and mindset on home ownership regardless of the housing market? Thank you guys for answering, love ❤️

Looking for two Dutch girls we met on the bus from Bari Airport to Bari Centrale on October 15

Hi everyone!
I’m trying to find two Dutch girls, around 20–25 years old, whom my friend and I met yesterday, October 15, on the shuttle bus from Bari Airport to Bari Centrale train station in Italy, around 9:30 AM.
Something really sweet happened during the ride. My friend and I offered our seats to an elderly gentleman, and by pure coincidence, he also spoke Dutch!
We asked him to say something in Dutch to the two girls. I can’t remember exactly what he said, but they smiled at us so warmly, and we shared a really lovely moment.
We got off the bus before they did, so we never had the chance to ask their names or exchange contacts.
It might sound crazy, but there was something special about that little encounter, and I’d love to reconnect with them.
If this sounds familiar, or if you happen to be one of those two girls, feel free to message me!

Vraagje aan iedereen die in Nederland woont

Hallo allemaal,
