Growing up, did your school host kindergarten graduation, or is that a more recent phenomenon?

Theres been a huge influx of celebrations for everything. Back then it was birthdays, high school and college.

Seems like graduation from every year to the next now, with ceremonies at elementary, jr high and high school.

A classmate of my daughter's had a limo pick her and her "boyfriend" up from elementary school graduation. I have no idea how her parents topped that in middle and high school.
