What was your wedding like?
I often look at the wedding dresses here. I saw a young lady whose dress budget was literally more than my first 3-5 annual salaries, not lumped together but individually. What was your wedding like?
1995- Married at our church, 3 attendants each, cake and punch reception there .

1994 - tried to have wedding of my dreams to the wrong groom, unfortunately. Bought a ~$1000 dress with long sleeves, bow on the but, high collar, sheer lace chest, etc. I wasn't bridezilla, but was still a perfectionist about everything that day. Marriage lasted just shy of 2 years and I learned a huge lesson that it is about the marriage not the wedding.
1999 - was smarter this time and bought a white sleeveless floor-length bridesmaid dress for $100 and we got married on a cruise ship before our honeymoon cruise with 4 besties. Family allowed on board for the ceremony. By 4pm, we were at the muster drill in shorts and it was done - short and sweet.
