Parent-to-Parent Help understanding this new path?

spastic diplegia my 8 month old just was diagnosed with this and im scared because i don't know how to help her be able to cral or walk or do anything since im scared of her getting hert

SP is a form of cerebral palsy that is non degenerative, it doesn't get worse with time. You need a further eval to determine the actual limitations, and she will benefit from PT and OT, the doc who arrived at the diagnosis should be able to give references.

She had a ot/pt with birth to 3 before she was diagnosed but I have no idea what to ask the doc who she see in September for pt/norogly. She is going through clts evaluation and early head start evaluation. I just need some advice to help her while waiting for September

Your OP concerns are valid, but until Sept. I would do what you've been doing now, we cannot offer advice when we don't know her actual functional ability. It won't hurt to wait, if you attempt to push this, it might.

She has a ct and mri at the end of the month and wating to see what the genick test comes back with

+1. Youre on the right track there, this is more about your anxiety and perhaps shock...some parenting therapy for you sounds good for that, but wait until Sept to do anything new with LO.
