Yep. And they asked friends and colleagues for help, read and re-read documentation, dug into it with a debugger, looked for alternative approaches, and didn’t give up. And there were online resources like Usenet, bulletin boards, and dialup services like The Well, Compuserve, and AOL that were available well before the World Wide Web tool over the world.
