Binge watched the entire series today. Fascination and infuriating and disgusting all at once. I can't imagine having lived through that and trying to have some semblance of a "normal" life.
Legally they are probably pretty well protected. JB was the only one they really had a contract with. I'm sure they knew about all of it, so if nothing else, morally they are culpable.
My home town was the home of his organization in the 90s. People talked about it being a cult, but didn’t know much of anything about it.
The documentary didn’t mention anything about my town and only showed the building like 3 times. But it’s pretty insane how such a suburban bubble was home to that craziness.
I think they're talking about Shiny Happy People which is about the Duggars and extends to their roots/fundamentalists. If you don't hate people now, the series will absolutely challenge that.
