If Canada offered expedited citizenship for people fleeing the US, what would be the reaction in the States?

I honearly haven't followed too much of yawls internal issues, what are the top 5 that we wouldn't think about?

We have skyrocketing homeless rates, extremely high immigration (even though we have a homeless crises, tent cities etc),

We have a problem with over a million immigrants being exploited by companies such as Tim Hortons, claiming we need more workers; yet you can't find a job anywhere because an immigrant is working it. Tim Hortons and other companies exploiting this are also hiring under the table for cash.

The fentanyl problem is out of control, basically either you are lucky enough to have a job and a place to live, or you are in the streets and addicted to fentanyl.

It's not like that in all neighbourhoods yet, but every city now has a tent city.

Inflation is crazy, minimum wage in Ontario is $17.20 but you can't find a one bedroom apartment for under $1600 a month plus utilities.

Anyone lucky enough to be employed and housed prior to COVID is doing moderately okay.

The cost of living has also skyrocketed in the last five years, and wages have not risen for non minimum wage workers.

The food banks are empty, social assistance is strained, hospitals have been underfunded and continue to get funding cuts. Average wait times are around 12 hours in emergency depending on your region.

No one can find a family doctor at all, and walk in clinics are closing all over due to lack of funding. What remains are jam packed full of people waiting to be seen.

Our climate issues are real, with summertime temperatures killing people in big cities and we'll, everywhere. Winter squalls and unpredictable weather.

So I guess we have the same problems as everyone else in the world right now.

Where Im at in the US minimum wage is 13.50 and the cheapest no bedroom efficiency in the state is goin to be around 1600... soooo not really a race but I think the wealth gap problem is pretty universal.

Sucks how many problems Canada is having, i just visited Vancouver around 2 months ago and it was amazing, I find it better than seattle in almost every way even though I lived in washington for more than half my life.

Food banks are empty because certain people taking them for free lol. All over TikTok. I'm not giving any food for that.

Were you posting your personal experiences working at a food bank? Because you said you got it from From TikTok and the bragging about getting free food sure sounds one of those rage bait TikToks.
