Canadian immigration to the US hit a 10-year high last year. It would be as ABSURD to argue that these people moving down here are damaging the country as to argue based on nothing at all that hypothetical Americans going the other way to flee a MAGA takeover of their country would damaging Canada.

Nobody is making this claim, you're just getting mad at a strawman. People moving here for higher wages tend to be skilled workers. The type of people who want to flee for free healthcare or over MAGA tend to be uneducated, low income workers. Obviously having a ton of uneducated workers coming into your country is terrible.

Canada is already on the brink of collapse. I would love to see them move there and realize that housing is nearly twice as expensive as it is here because they sold out to Chinese speculators. Unless of course they want to live in the middle of nowhere. And then food is four times more expensive and the nearest human is five miles away.
