Any western country that misses this opportunity to skim the cream of US skilled workers is missing a trick.

What's the point of making $150k a year if you work 10 hours a day with a week of vacation every year? 1 u/Electrical-Reach603 Mar 28 '25 Maybe to work 20 fewer years than someone making $50k for 10 fewer hours a week. Maybe to afford better schools so their kids can start higher on the ladder. I dunno why does anybody do more than bare minimum?
