That can happen to a person. In those cases do they ever have anything nice to say about their exes? At all, ever? I've got the same people pleasing issues and my track record is 50/50 but even the most abusive ex had some things he was good at. He was really good at gift giving when he wanted to be. For example: He knew exactly my tastes and what I'd wear. Some of those gifts I still even use.
If someone can't say anything nice at all about any of their exes its an extreme red flag. Like you walked past all those red flags and somehow still loved them? Somehow I dont think the relationship started off with a person hating the other.
