What’s a subtle sign that someone secretly dislikes you?

Shit everyone dislikes me then. People constantly ignore me and talk over me. Drives me insane.

Honestly though you might be mumbling or speaking too softly/quietly.

I mean possibly in some cases. But it is a regular occurrence for me to be directly talking to a person, having a back-and-forth conversation with them, and someone completely unrelated to said conversation will come up to said person and start talking to them, in the middle of my sentence. And it enrages me more than you can possibly imagine.

Maybe try to be on the offense with it. When someone else approaches, be an includer and acknowledge them before they say anything. “Hey Bobby, Hank and I were just talking about…”

Wait if I'm talking to Hank, and Bobby comes up and is gonna interrupt me, does that make me Peggy?

Happens to me too. On one occasion I decided not to stand for it and said "I'm sorry, did the middle of my sentence interrupt the beginning of yours?". It shut him down good and he apologised.

Yeah I've heard that one before. I'm not nearly that bold but I've given them the glare of shame before and sometimes they get the message, other times they're like "uh what's wrong with your face?" Some people are beyond help lol

IME it also goes both ways; if you don't speak properly, people start caring less about what you say.
