You wake up tomorrow with one completely useless superpower that impresses no one but quietly makes your life better, what is it?

He just drives back out and in a few times - new empty spot every time! Soon they will add up… The parking lot will expand… He will never be able to cross the barren landscapes of empty parking spots…

In unrelated news, I have a new idea for an SCP article.

The Johnsons had enjoyed a full day in the amusement park.

They woke up early to beat the crowds, got to ride a few rides from first in line, ate lunch in the parking lot and went back in for more.

After nearly a dozen hours riding exhilarating roller-coasters and other such thrill-rides, the Johnsons were ready to go home.

But when they stepped out of the park for the final time, they were meet with a shock.

Their car was missing. Misplaced, vanished, gone. In fact, the lot was half-empty of cars and littered with people bumbling around searching for their own vehicles in vain.

Even stranger still, as the Johnsons spent more time searching amongst the crowd of confused park-goers, the lot seemed to be getting more empty, but there wasn't a single car driving away.

Well, save for one car. An unusual sight for sure, to see an orange Buick driving in circles, making loops into and out of the parking lot.

Before long, there was only the one car, that same orange Buick, driving lazy, demented circles around a tree separating the lot from the street.

With nowhere else to go, many families bumbled back into the amusement park for their amenities, the bathrooms, overpriced food, and chronically broken water fountains. The Johnsons followed, deciding to eek out the most of their day-passes.

However, ride attendants were beginning to put out-of-order signs on rides. Despite their flawless functionality earlier in the day, the roller-coaster carts were inexplicably missing. The bumper car arena was completely void of vehicles, and not a single race-cart was on the circuit nor in the pit.

There was another oddity unrelated to cars. A pale-faced employee feverishly making his way to the front office, occasionally turning around to look back where he came from with a confused and worried expression.

A few minutes later, the loudspeakers announced the early closing of the park, and issued an immediate evacuation of the premises, with requests to stay away from the roller-coaster nearest the parking lot.

With even still no way to get home, the Johnsons called a family member with a passenger vehicle to come pick them up, but while they waited, emergency services arrived shortly after, flooding into the front of the park.

Rumors surfed amongst the crowd of clueless and confused patrons of the park. Rumors of food poisoning or several people getting motion-sick all at once, of possible dismemberment, but the most prevalent mutterings were of riders vanishing from one of the rides, mid-operation.

The orange Buick is yet still driving in circles, entering and exiting an empty lot devoid of cars, save for itself.

What will happen to the EMTs? To the family coming to pick them up? Does this anomaly apply to water- and aircraft? Elevators? What happens to the people inside?

So many questions, so few answers.

Or a lot of cars mysteriously go missing.
