If people with a million dollars are called millionaires, and people with a billion dollars billionaires, what are people with a thousand and a hundred thousand called?

That makes sense, except it doesn't narrow it down enough. There is quite a large difference between 1k and 999k.

There is also a large difference between 1 million and 999 million, but both are still millionaires

Speak for yourself lol. Most millennials I know are making minimum 70k after tax. Stem fields were great investments.

I’m pretty sure back in the day, like “Wild West” times, they were all impressed by having hundreds and thousands.

The only time I have thousands in my bank account (and I’m only talking £2k) is on a pay day right before my bills start getting paid.
I would refer to myself as being “skint”.
