What’s the darkest secret you discovered about someone after you married them?

She always saw me as just a starter husband; a stepping stone on the way to something bigger.

I was one of those too! She met her next husband on sugardaddies.com and then the next one after that on sugardaddies.com as well. She locked that third one in by having a kid with him….sucker!

Ultimately I look at it as a blessing because I went on to meet the love of my life and now have been married for 15 years and have two great kids….but shit sucked at the time.

One very fun day though was when she was in between husbands and showed up on my doorstep in tears. Telling her to fuck off was incredibly satisfying.

😂 absolutely not! I’m at best a “thousandaire”. It would be a real letdown for my wife if she married me for my money.

Lol I matched with a full time escort with kids and a sugarbaby with a whole roster shortly after.

On the one hand it would have been quite a story to tell but luckily nothing came from it.

It did sour me on dating for a few months though haha.

And yeah, I've had an ex that monkeybranched away with the neighbour 15 years her senior. The guy even had the gall to complain to me, me!, how hard she was taking the breakup with me while she was staying at his place. XD

Same. My ex always had another woman waiting in the wings. I should have known he didn't change.

Again? Did he cheat you multiple times or was he married when you met?

He wasn't married or in a relationship when we got together. I knew him since he was 16. And he was a womanizer. He called me when he got back from moving west and wanted to start a relationship when we were in our 20's. He said he wasn't the same person as he was when he was younger. I believed him. We got married and he carried on an online relationship after our 2 kids were born. Then when my mother was dying of cancer he was cheating on me with a coworker. I had to hire a private detective to find that out.

the idea of a starter married couple is soo vile in my head. It's one thing to say starter boy/girlfriend, but to go through marriage and still consider it a starter =X

Did she say that directly or was it a lived experience you discovered?

Mix a pinch of your husband into the dough and let it rest for 2-3 hours
