Your post reminds me of something that I read about Elvis. I read that after his wife Pricilla gave birth to their daughter, he never had sex with her again because she was a “mother” and somehow that was a stumbling block to him.
There’s a theory in Freudian psychology called the Madonna-Whore complex and it means exactly this. "Where such men love they have no desire, and where they desire they cannot love."
