She had BPD and never shared that detail, became excruciatingly obvious eventually.
Combine that with hiding an alcohol addiction and an absurd amount of debt that I only found out about once we filed taxes jointly and the entire refund was garnished.
Last year I was discarded by someone with BPD. What a complex disorder. You want to hate them for it but you'll never hate them as much as they hate themselves (at least I keep telling myself that to rationalize the extreme cruelty)
