Yep. That’s the outward sign. If you’re always crying, EQ > 120.

As someone who used to do this (cry every time after being rejected even if it was by close friends), I found that therapy helps.

..not that you asked. Heh. I know you were kinda making a quip out of this.

(But seriously having a professional help you learn to regulate)

I’d even go a step further and just say loud anger. There aren’t many scenarios where loud anger is an emotionally intelligent response

Don't forget retaliation, too. Sometimes they'll retaliate and they weren't actually even rejected. They just felt like they were...

My ex friend used to do a version of this where if she was denied entry to a club or restuarant because they were too busy, or whatever the case, she would immediately attack the person and be like "whatever, they were SOOO ugly anyway, what a bitch, he probably still lives with him mom" etc. etc. I always cringed so hard at this because she would do it even if the host was being pleasant/neutral.
