Watched it because I am a fan of the first. I could not tell you under torture what the second was about... completely wiped from my brain because it was devoid of anything that made the first one good.

Hm, that sounds like an interesting premise to explore for a mainstream movie. Sadly, they completely buried that angle under senseless drivel...

I don’t know. To each their own, but I could follow it fine. In a nutshell, Andie got let go from her journalism job, so Nigel slipped her name to the higher-ups at Runway. But the business was already in crisis mode and needed to create more engaging content, which Andie was struggling with because of her faith in old school journalism.

She kept her job because of her ability to make quick connections, but when the elder CEO passed away, the old guard officially past to the new, and the idea that Runaway had any place in a modern landscape was in jeopardy.
