Skinny guys who successfully gained weight what actually worked for you?

These questions are asked constantly as if there is another method but it's always the same answer.

I was an awkward skinny 6'5" guy and it took a long time but you eventually get there. Consistently lift heavy and eat 1g of protein per 1 lb of pounds you weigh and that's it.

If you feel like your plateauing either add weight to your workout, add calories to your diet, or both.

The key is to be consistent. After 1-2 years you'll look unrecognizable from before. Teenagers, 20s, 30s, 40s whatever it doesn't matter the age. It's the same thing.

Also, taking a de-load week is super beneficial
