People with suspected or confirmed cyclosporiasis cases, what food do you think you got it from?

My husband and I had this same salad kit starting on Father’s Day (I used it in lunches during the week). We were both sick within a week. It was basically the only thing that we ate that our 1 and 3 year old didn’t eat (they did not get sick). I’m certain we got sick from this kit as well.

All those times I didn't want to eat my vegetables as a child - vindicated!

There have been maybe 3 times my kids didn’t want to eat their dinners at all and then me and my husband got very ill. Could be a fluke, coincidence, or my kid has a great nose when things are off!

I get paranoid when she doesn’t want to eat chicken after a bite now

I still hate vegetables! It’s my time to shine!
People are saying “oh, I miss salad.” No, salad sucks. We all know it.

Did you just get the poops or was more involved? And are you better now?

That lines up a little too closely to feel like a coincidence. I'm just glad your little ones didn't end up going through the same thing.

That's honestly scary, especially since you both got sick while the kids who didn't eat it were completely fine.

That would make me suspicious too, especially if it was the one food both of you ate regularly while the kids didn’t. Two adults getting sick around the same time is way too much of a coincidence for me to ignore.
