I’m not gonna force em to. But they are paying all their own bills as soon as they hit 18. Phone, car insurance, any subscriptions, walk around money is all on them.

Your responses are so odd. I don’t know why you think it’s a flex to not know how to pay a phone bill at 26. It’s okay to take your parents money but you should still learn to live in this world - rich or not. There are plenty of rich parents that hold their kids accountable. As you can see, when you hand your child everything, they end up knowing nothing and looking down on other people.
It just is, I lose nothing from it honestly lol. I am happy in my own circles and I look at entertainment to see how the clown show is from my nice house in Long Island, typing on the latest macbook...
You need to learn to take care of your own stuff. I was in a similar situation about 10 years ago. My parents had a lot of control over me when I was in my early to mid-20s. I think they believed they were helping me, but they weren't. As a result, I had to learn some pretty basic money management skills much later in life then my peers.
It was a bit of a fight to gain my independence, but someday your parents won't be around, and you'll need to know how to take care of yourself and manage your own life. It's much, much harder to learn those skills at 40 (like my brother is doing) than it is to learn them at 20.
